With over twenty years Experience in the Seattle hospitality industry desiree began her career in restaurant operations followed by Event catering, then acquired Melrose Market Studios where she created one of capitol hills' top destination Event spaces. It is desiree's attention to detail that makes sure the room looks perfectly prepared for your Event -- she catches things that no one else sees, and she fixes those issues before you ever notice them.

Director of Operations

Before joining melrose michel worked behind-the-scenes for many of Seattle’s leading caterers for nearly fifteen years. Michel developed the operational systems that enable melrose to deliver its events on time, and on-budget. To this day michel walks every load-in himself. If you’ve ever asked yourself how an Event at melrose always appears so organized and never chaotic, it is because michel anticipated every possible logistical challenge months ago.

Senior Event Producer

As a senior producer for more than four-hundred melrose events hanna is also the reason many of our couples find their planning process surprisingly relaxing. She speaks the languages of both maximalist weddings and corporate galas alike, and she has a unique ability to make both feel just as intentional.

Event Producer

Prior to joining melrose sara was a producer for a downtown boutique hotel. Quickly becoming the Coordinator our clients most frequently requested by name sara is cool-headed under pressure, never flustered by last-minute changes due to inclement weather conditions and is well-known internally for being able to handle covid-era rescheduling requests with such ease they were able to turn several panicked couples into repeat clients.

Wedding Coordinator

Kimball heads up Melrose’ Wedding programming and is the individual most commonly seen standing atop a ladder setting up one of our client’s custom neon signs just forty minutes prior to their scheduled ceremony. Kimball treats each couple’s special day as if it were the only Wedding happening on our calendar that week – even when there aren’t. The results speak for themselves as evidenced by his very high repeat referral rating.

Event Day Manager

On evenings when events take place joe oversees the entire operation. He is typically the first Person your guests encounter upon arriving at the entrance and he is usually the last Person to leave once everyone has departed. Joe’s background in providing fine dining service is evident in every transaction or interaction with him – the pour is correct, the plate is cleared at the appropriate moment, and no guest has ever had to ask a second time for anything.
